Romeo and Juliet is one of the most famous tragedies written by William Shakespeare, as well as one of the most famous love stories in the world.
The tragedy tells how two noble families of Verona, the Montagues and the Capulets, have opposed each other for generations and that “from the fatal loins of two enemies descend a pair of lovers, born under an evil star, whose tragic suicide will put an end to theconflict”.
The tragedy found evidence in Verona and the fantasy mixed the legend and reality, so much so that various places were recognized where the story narrated by Shakespearewould take place:
- Juliet’s house
- Romeo’s house
- The grave of Juliet
