Zurich is not only the largest city in Switzerland but also its economic capital

The medieval old town, or Altstadt, is divided in two by the River Limmat and is crisscrossed by winding alleys topped by tall steeples.

The Grossmünster Cathedral is considered by all to be the symbol of Zurich and is easily recognizable thanks to its twin towers.

The monumental Munster bridge gives access to the Lindenhof quarter, on the left bank of the river, the oldest part of Zurich.
