The Landro Lake (Dürrensee in German) is located at the bottom of the Val di Landro, in South Tyrol, in the municipality of Dobbiaco.
From the shores of the lake you can admire the steep rocky walls of the Dolomites, in the territory of the Sesto Dolomites Natural Park.
Despite its location at over 1,400 meters above sea level, its turquoise green waters are relatively warm as it has few tributaries and no diffluents but during the winter months the lake is frozen over.
