Victory Monument and Museum in Baku are located in Zafar Park (Victory Park) in the Khatai district.
The park and memorial commemorate Azerbaijan’s victory in the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh War against Armenia.
The entrance is marked by a 44-meter-high and 22-meter-wide Triumphal Arch, featuring 44 columns symbolizing the 44 days of the war.
Beyond the arch, you’ll find the Victory Monument, surrounded by decorations inspired by Karabakh carpets, and the Wall of Remembrance, inscribed with the names of the fallen.
In the lower section of the park is the Victory Museum, which will open on 8thNovember 2025.
The museum commemorates the 2020 Second Nagorno-Karabakh War with eight immersive, high-tech rooms designed to retrace the regional history, the conflict, and the rebirth of the area. A section is dedicated to the Battle of Shusha.
The memorial area also includes the Military Trophy Park. This open-air museum displays vehicles, weapons, and fortifications captured by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces during the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war.
This area houses the remains of over 300 war relics, including tanks, missiles, military trucks, and heavy equipment.
