Church of the Trinity of Gergeti 

Gergeti Trinity Church is located on the slope of Mount Kazbek, near the town of Stepantsminda and is one of the most iconic constructions in Georgia. 

The church was built in the fourteenth century and has been an important place of worship for centuries.

According to legend, the church was built in the 14th century by a monk named Gabriel, who was inspired to build it after seeing an image of the Holy Trinity on a rock in the area. 

The church was built using traditional Georgian architectural techniques and materials, including stone and wood.

The interior of the church is decorated with 16th-century frescoes and religious artifacts, including an icon of St. Nino, the patron saint of Georgia. 

The church is located at an altitude of 2,170 meters and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

The church can be reached by 4×4 vehicle or on foot. The hike is quite challenging and takes about 2-3 hours.
