Tower Bridge – London

Tower Bridge – London

Tower Bridge is a London bridge over the River Thames.

Considered one of the symbols of the English capital, it connects the villages of Southwark and Tower Hamlets, near the Tower of London, from which it takes its name. It was built between 1886 and 1894 and is a magnificent example of engineering of the time.

The bridge is about 244 meters long with two 64-meter-high towers built on pillars. At a height of 43 meters there is a covered pedestrian crossing, which offers great views of the Thames.

Tower Bridge is London’s third most photographed monument.
